The initial contract will run for a period of 6 months with potential extensions.

**Main responsibilities**
- Prepare conceptual and detailed 2D and 3D design drawings for production, fabrication and assembly
- Actively participate in design planning meetings, design reviews and other project meetings
- Process design change documents, and document control via configuration management system
- Undertake tolerance analysis to ensure design for manufacturability and design to costs consideration are applied
- Undertake feasibility analysis where required to ensure Design for Manufacturability and Design to Costs considerations are applied
- Provide computations required to translate source data into working drawings
- Adherence to TGS's Quality manual
- Be able to work efficiently and effectively as part of a mechanical engineering team at office and remotely

**Required qualifications / experience**
- Completed an accredited Tertiary Drafting, Technical or Engineering Degree.
- At least 3 years mandatory experience using AutoCAD Inventor
- A high degree of attention to detail
- Ability to communicate efficiently and professionally
- ITAR compliant
- Australian Citizen eligible for a security clearance
