Due to our rapidly growing business, Flavorite has a vacancy for a new Packing Leading Hand.

Reporting directly to the Senior Logistic and Packing Supervisor, you will be responsible for assisting with the coordination of the packing functions to ensure the quality and timeliness of customer orders meet expectations.

**Your key responsibilities will include**:

- Packing tasks on the production lines
- Operate a range of packing machines in accordance with daily orders
- Assist the Supervisor:

- to manage workloads through supervision and delegation
- in training and development of team members to complete packing tasks
- Undertaking leadership and on the job training

We are looking for someone with experience working in a fast paced environment who likes to be hands on. Previous experience with production type of machinery, experience working to daily KPIs and the ability to lead a team is desirable. The successful applicant will be provided with extensive training.

**About the department**:

- This full time role is Wednesday to Saturday with a start time around 7am.
- Our packing facility has over 120 staff during our peak season
- In our peak season we pack 350 ton a week of large truss tomatoes, plus our other produce
- We work with the latest technological advances and have a strong thirst for innovation
- We love to share our knowledge and develop our team to offer a long term career
