Multi-Skilled Operators - FIFO & SEQ Project Roles

**About Us**:
1st Class Earthworx is a leading provider of, civil construction, mining services, infrastructure development. We are currently seeking experienced and highly motivated Multi-Skilled Operators to join our dynamic team on various exciting projects. We offer a range of opportunities, from FIFO roles on remote sites to local work within South East Queensland. Our project-based contracts can vary in length, from two weeks up to 12 months, providing flexibility and diverse work experiences.

**The Opportunity**:
We are looking for versatile Multi-Skilled Operators with a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and quality workmanship. You will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery on civil construction, mining, or infrastructure projects. These roles offer the chance to work on diverse projects across different landscapes and gain valuable experience.

**Responsibilities May Include (but are not limited to)**:

- Operating various heavy machinery such as excavators, loaders, dozers, graders, rollers, dump trucks, water carts, etc.
- Conducting pre-start checks and routine maintenance on equipment.
- Adhering strictly to all site safety procedures and policies.
- Working collaboratively with site supervisors and project teams.
- Contributing to a positive and productive work environment.
- Maintaining accurate daily logs and reporting.
- Ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials.

**What We're Looking For**:

- Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Operator in civil construction, mining, or a related industry.
- Relevant machinery tickets/VOCs (e.g., RIW, White Card, specific plant tickets).
- A strong commitment to safety and adherence to OHS regulations.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in challenging environments.
- Flexibility to work on various project durations (2 weeks to 12 months) and locations (FIFO or SEQ).
- A current valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.

**FIFO Opportunities**:

- For our FIFO roles, you will be flown to and from site, with camp accommodation and meals provided. Rosters will vary depending on the project.

**South East Queensland Opportunities**:

- For our SEQ roles, you will be working on projects located throughout the South East Queensland region.

**Job Types**: Subcontract, Seasonal, Temp to perm, Contract, Locum
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 70 per week

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift

**Education**:

- High School (Year 12) (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Civil Construction: 2 years (preferred)
- GPS: 3 years (preferred)
- Detailed Excavation: 4 years (preferred)
- Mining: 4 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Licence (preferred)
- HR Licence (preferred)
- HC Licence (preferred)
- Standard 11 (preferred)
- Coal Board Medical (preferred)
- Excavator Ticket (preferred)
- Skid Steer Certification (preferred)
- Dozer Ticket or Grader Ticket (preferred)
