Central Queensland is home to a significant mining operation at Carmichael Mine. We are seeking an experienced Multi-Skilled Operator to join our team full-time and contribute to the long-term FIFO mining project.

This role offers the opportunity to operate modern equipment on an even-time roster with minimal travel time, excellent facilities, and genuine opportunities for growth and career development.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 12 months' experience in a mining environment as a Multi Skilled Operator
  • Dozer, Haul Truck + one other ancillary - Water Truck, Loader or Grader
  • Current RII competencies or recent VOCs (within last 5 years)
  • Standard 11 & CBM
  • Strong safety focus, reliability, and teamwork skills

Benefits Package

Pay Rate : $64.41 / hour + superannuationRoster : 7 / 7 rotating day & night shifts (Tuesday-Monday), 12.5-hour shiftsLocation : FIFO from Rockhampton, Townsville, or CairnsCamp : Fully catered with gym & recreation areas; airstrip & pit within 10 minutesRetention Bonus : $3k Year 1 (pro-rata), $6k Year 2, $9k Year 3 (T&Cs apply)
