As an apprentice Electrician, you will have the exciting opportunity to continue your trade & work alongside experienced professionals in the industry learning the skills to progress and work towards completion of your trade qualification.

**ABOUT THE EMPLOYER**:
Our Host Employer is an Electrical Company that has been operating since 1999. They specialise in providing exceptional Electrical services to clients in domestic electrical work & commercial maintenance. They offer a relaxed, mixed paced, professional environment who are very team orientated and are looking for a friendly and driven individual to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a current apprentice in the electrical trade to work with a well respected local company.

**KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Installation wiring for new and existing homes
- Installing & configuring lighting systems, including fixtures, switches and dimmers
- Placing & wiring power outlets (sockets) in various locations in the home
- Installing light switches & other types of switches for controlling electrical appliances & fixtures
- Connecting & installing electrical appliances
- Upgrading or replacing circuit breaker panels to meet electrical needs
- Identifying & resolving electrical issues & ensuring safety compliance with local codes & regulations

**DESIRED QUALITIES**:

- Currently enrolled & up to date with an accredited RTO
- Drivers Licence & own vehicle essential
- Domestic Electrical experience required
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able meet deadlines
- Have an understanding of electrical systems and components
- Posses an eagerness to learn and have a proactive attitude
- Ability to maintain a strict discipline of safety guidelines during all phases of Electrical work

Working full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:00am to 2:45pm

As part of this Apprenticeship, you will be PAID to study a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician through OFF THE JOB Training.
