The City is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Horticulturist to join our skilful and hardworking Parks and Environment team. This role will ensure that public parks and gardens are consistently presented and maintained to a high standard.

Reporting to the Team Leader Parks, this position will support the City by:

- Assisting with the development and implementation of daily and weekly landscape maintenance schedules associated with the City’s parks, streetscapes and other landscape areas as required.
- Identifying future landscape and asset maintenance requirements including but not limited to garden beds, turf, playgrounds and parks infrastructure and furniture.
- Providing expert advice and leadership on the maintenance and best practice management of amenity horticulture including the use of associated landscape maintenance tools and equipment.
- Providing a community focused service and ensuring a professional and courteous approach.
