You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, managing fleet and staff, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Your role will involve working closely with various departments to improve efficiency, drive performance, and ensure compliance with safety and industry regulations. Your leadership and expertise will play a pivotal role in maintaining the company’s commitment to timely, safe, and cost-effective transport solutions.

Description:
As a Transport Company Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Organising the purchase and maintenance of transport vehicles, equipment, and fuel to ensure efficient operations.
- Liaising with clients to determine their requirements, providing advice on vehicle types, hire rates, and addressing complaints.
- Receiving orders and bookings, and planning transportation schedules to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Ensuring goods are stored and transported under conditions that maintain their quality and safety standards.
- Arranging the collection and delivery of vehicles and goods, ensuring the logistics chain operates smoothly.
- Maintaining accurate business records, preparing operational statements, and compiling reports for management review.
- Coordinating the arrival, departure, loading, and unloading activities at the depot, ensuring mínimal delays.
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations and implementing necessary safety procedures.
- Managing relationships with key clients and serving as their primary point of contact to ensure satisfaction.
- Collaborating with fleet allocators and planners to optimise routing, vehicle utilization, and reduce operational costs.
- Managing driver rosters and ensuring all drivers complete pre-start safety checks and are fit for duty.
- Monitoring depot expenses and operational costs to ensure the depot operates within budget.

**Profile**:
The successful applicant will have:

- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in Transport Company Management Position
- Strong Attention to detail
- Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident Preferred
- Qualification-AQF Bachelor or Higher required

**Salary**:

- $80,000-$100,000 + Superannuation

Full Time:

- 38 hours per week

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

**Education**:

- Bachelor Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- Transport Manager or similar position: 2 years (required)
