**About the role**

The Coordinator, Volunteer Recruitment position will be responsible for providing a seamless recruitment, onboarding and offboarding experience for Cancer Council Queensland’s volunteers. The role will cover end-to-end recruitment for our volunteers, but will also assist the Lead, Talent Acquisition with the recruitment of employees as needed. This role is a Fixed-Term, Full-time position (37.5 hours per week).

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will be required to demonstrate experience across the following:
**Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills**
- Tertiary qualifications (diploma or degree) in Human Resources, Volunteer Management, or have equivalent experience across these areas.
- Knowledge and experience in volunteer liaison.
- At least 1 year’ worth of experiencing in recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Demonstrated experience and sound knowledge in fair, equitable and fit for purpose recruitment and selection processes, or ability to rapidly acquire the skill and knowledge.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
- Well-developed communication skills with an ability to liaise effectively with key stakeholders. This includes problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve conflict.
- Experience in handling confidential information.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills with a consultative style.
- Creative thinker and effective at implementing ideas.
- Proficient in IT systems including Microsoft Office, ConnX and HR Information Systems, or the ability to become proficient.
