**ABOUT THE ROLE**
We have a unique opportunity for a Coordinator (Events & Sponsorship) to join our Marking and Communications team in the Toowoomba Head Office, on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Manager (Marketing and Communications), you will have the opportunity to develop and coordinate the Mort & Co promotional calendar. This will include
- Ensuring ‘end to end’ delivery of all events including major events held in conjunction with external stakeholders.
- Securing and coordinating sponsorship opportunities in line with the company growth strategy.
- Coordinating the calendar of Tradeshows and stand designs, including International markets;
- Providing support in relation to sponsorship of events including liaising with sponsors, ensuring events and sponsorships are accurately recorded and reported.
- preparing event and promotional material, sourcing appropriate venues, facilities, catering, audio-visual and other requirements;
- planning, researching, creating, distributing and evaluating content to identify content gaps and needs, and align content goals with the overall Mort & Co marketing strategy;
**ABOUT YOU**
To set you up for success in the role, you will possess:
- Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, journalism or related field.
- Proven experience as a content creator or content editor.
- A solid understanding of marketing, with proven experience and success in event coordination/management and sponsorship.
- Strong research, writing, analytical and editing skills.
- Exceptional skills in building relationships, communication and presentation
- Experience working both independently and as part of a team.
- Organisational and time management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Project management skills and the ability to see tasks through to completion.
- Ability to identify opportunities for business promotion.
