Finance Business Partner- Full Time

Reporting to the Senior Finance Business Partner, you’ll partner with the Amart commercial leadership team to support the delivery of their commercial and strategic priorities and provide commercial analysis on both projects and BAU activities
This role is an end-to-end partnering role from preparation of month end accounts through to budgets. You will develop trusted relationships with site leadership teams to identify and deliver initiatives to grow volumes and profitability, prepare the weekly and monthly management accounts and prepare supporting commentary along with the analysis of financial and operational reports on a daily & weekly basis.
The role will include, but not confined to the following:
- Support senior leaders to manage operations, develop budgets and provide financial reasoning to help with decision making.
- Improving the impact, and understanding, of financial reporting on business performance
- Providing analysis and delivering insight that links financial reports to business strategies
- Providing effective commercial procedures, or initiating change, to ensure key operational, commercial and financial targets are delivered
- Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams
- Preparation of month end data for the Corporate Accounting team to ensure month end deadlines are met
- Commercial Analysis incl.
- Retail Performance
- Cost efficiency & Labour productivity
- Product category performance
- Promotional evaluations
- Customer spending insights
- Responsibility for the annual budget & rolling forecast process (utilising TM1)
- Business decision support
- Strategic project support
- Assistance with due diligence projects when required
**Core Skills**:
To be successful in this role, you should have experience of the following;
- Providing insightful analysis of business performance
- Driving recommendations for improvements in profitability to a successful outcome
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building business partnering relationships in a ‘fast paced’, dynamic environment
- Providing financial support for business decisions
- Excellent presentation skills, able to translate complex data into clear & concise analysis
- Prior experience in retail would be beneficial, though not essential
**Technical Skills**:
- CA / CPA / MBA Qualification
- Advanced MS Excel, (incl. data cubes)
- MS Powerpoint
- TM1
- Infor M3
Preferable, but not essential.
- SQL
- MS Power BI
