**About the role**
Reporting to the Commercial Financial Controller, we are looking for a qualified accountant with prior Finance Business Partner experience or an up-and-coming bright individual with an improvement mindset to join our collaborative and supportive team.
As the Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing senior management with an accurate understanding of the financial performance of our Wetherill Park processing plant and recommendations on improvements in profitability. Working closely with the Wetherill Park operations and sales teams, you will be able to comprehend the plant’s key performance drivers and provide the company’s key decision makers with high quality financial insight.
In this role you will:
- Analyse the site’s financial performance to have direct input into decision making
- Lead opportunities to reduce cost through improvements in efficiency, process re-design, and procurement pricing
- Have end-to-end P&L responsibility for the Wetherill Park plant

**About you**
You are an experienced Finance Business Partner with strong core business skills. You enjoy problem solving and will come with well-developed communication skills. You are a highly organised individual with the ability to balance multiple priorities and conflicting deadlines with ease. Your ability to interpret data and influence day to day decisions of the business will see you thrive in this role
To be successful in this role you will bring:
- Strong experience in a similar role
- Tertiary qualifications or substantial practical experience in this area
- Knowledge of Australian Accounting Standards.
- Understanding and commitment to confidentiality
- Advanced Microsoft office skills (particularly Excel, macros not necessary)
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Experience with SAP (desirable)
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
