Data Center Support Coordinator

australia melbourne contract au$400 - au$550 per dayOur client is a leading national retailer currently seeking a Data Center Support Coordinator to support, manage and enhance their existing data center.
Your new role will see you responsible for the day to day management or building facilities that support the businesses data centre. Working in a 24×7 environment you will need to be comfortable providing on call and overtime support, as well as working night shifts on a rotational roster. You will support and coordinate sub contractors, get involved in documentation and procedure development and oversee critical infrastructure systems including HVAC, Power, Security, Fire.
**Skills and Experience**:
- Experience in coordination of building facilities with support data centres desired
- Extensive knowledge of cooling, electrical and general supporting building infrastructure with Data Centres knowledge desired
- Ability to coordinate maintenance and contractors on the repair of supporting building services Knowledge of electrical switching systems, UPS’s and generators
- Experience with mission critical environments
- A grade electrician certification will be an advantage
Our client is offering an initial 6 month contract with the view to extension. Offices are based near the Melbourne CBD with free onsite parking for staff.
