Enjoy surfing the afternoons with 2:30pm finishes and a half day Friday - Career progression opportunities available after traineeship completion - Uniforms and PPE provided - Multiple Opportunities **About the role** **The apprenticeship will involve**: - Carry out measurements and calculations - Cut timber or engineered wood product to length of dimensions - Assemble timber roof trusses & timber wall frames - Use structured problem-solving tools and had held tools - Stack and bind material - Read and interpret timber truss or wall frame fabrication plans - Operating a forklift and gaining a forklift ticket **Requirements**: - Possess a good attitude and work ethic - Hold good communication skills and follow instructions - Understand the importance of workplace health and safety - Genuine interest in working in the timber products industry - Due to limited public transport available, Driver’s licence is desired, but not essential if you can commit to travel to and from - Participate in a Pre-employment Medical and pass a drug and alcohol test **Who We Are?** **Community Solutions **is a non-for-profit organisation operating as a commercial business, providing apprentices and trainees to a variety of different businesses throughout Queensland.
