We are looking to hire a Full Time Pre-Treatment Leader to join our Queensland Centralised Planning Team. Expressions of interest are sought from a highly driven radiation therapist looking to take the next step in their career.

The primary purpose of this role is to lead and manage all operational aspects of pre-treatment function (CT sim and planning) in Queensland. Reporting to the National Head of Planning and working closely with Operations Manager, the role is responsible for all aspects relating to daily operations, continuous improvement, quality, and human resources in the pre-treatment space. The Pre-Treatment Leader works closely with our Radiation Oncologists, and other stakeholders to facilitate the delivery of high-quality patient centred care, with a strong focus on quality and safety.

The Pre-Treatment Leader (PTL) is part of the Queensland leadership team alongside the Centre Leaders, driving the GenesisCare strategy on a page initiative and working within expectations of the role across a national framework. The PTL works closely with the Head of Planning and interstate Pre-Treatment leaders.

We’re interested in hearing from people who have:

- Demonstrated ability to lead the efficient and effective provision of radiotherapy planning processes across the practice.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships, particularly with Radiation Oncologists and the Queensland practice leadership team.
- Ability to work collaboratively with interstate Pre-Treatment Leaders to align planning process and drive cross border planning initiatives.
- Ability to collaborate with staff from across the Practice to ensure safe and effective service delivery and development.
- Ability to provide clinical leadership to the Queensland Centralised planning team
- Demonstrated outstanding leadership skills with strong skills in liaising, influencing, and negotiating with staff at all levels of the organisation.
- Ability to prioritise and time manage in a demanding environment and consistently role model our vision and values.
- Ability to problem solve and lead change
- Ability to manage teams across the state and partner with the National Planning leadership team.
