**Security Coordinator**

Trident Services Security Pty Ltd is an industry leader in the provision of integrated services including cleaning and security services in retail centres and airports throughout Australia. We pride ourselves on the delivery of highly proactive and well managed services to our Clients.

We are currently seeking a highly experienced, suitably qualified and motivated Security Coordinator.

Security Coordinator responsible for the direct supervision of all security staff and the implementation of security services at the dedicated location. Direct supervision of all security staff and the implementation of strategies, policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for staff, building tenants and visitors to the premises.

**This position will be responsible for**:

- Control of expenditure and maintenance of Contribution margin in accordance with agreed performance measures
- Ensure each shift is filled, security guards are inducted, provided with clear instruction on duties and supervised.
- Understanding of contract/client requirements.
- Record recommendations in Security log/client reporting.
- Regular contact with Police and emergency services.
- Strict adherence to Company Code of Conduct, as issued from time to time.

**To be successful in this position you will need to display the following**:

- Cert IV Security and Risk Management
- Valid and current Security Licence
- Valid Drivers License
- 3-5 years experience in a similar role in a retail environment
- Computer literate with intermediate to advanced skill in operation of:

- Access control systems, including car park management systems (if applicable)
- CCTV systems
- Building Management Control systems
- Key management systems
- Electronic reporting systems
- Physically fit to do the job.
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Ability to give clear instructions and manage small teams
- Skill in oral and written communications
- Ability to work unsupervised, provide training and instruction
- Ability to develop appropriate performance measures to evaluate effectiveness of programs and individuals
- Ability to diplomatically identify and resolve problems with peers, subordinates, tenants, contractors and members of the public
