**Tasmania Tin Operations** **Renison Mine** **About Bluestone** Bluestone Mines Tasmania Joint Venture Pty Ltd, is Australia’s largest Tin producer. Bluestone is a well-established, high yield tin producer with a strong resource base supporting a mine life in excess of 10 years. The Renison mine is located on Tasmania’s beautiful West Coast between the towns of Zeehan and Rosebery. **About the mine** Renison is currently experiencing an exciting phase of development, characterised by a robust "Life of Mine Plan" and an ongoing commitment to capital reinvestment. Our mission is to be a sustainable, efficient, capable, disciplined, and respected tin producer, continuously striving for operational excellence and optimisation. **About the role** We are looking for an Infrastructure Maintenance Support operator with to join our team. Experience in the underground environment and pumping systems would be beneficial but not essential. Full training will be provided to the successful applicant. In this new exciting role reporting to the Underground Projects supervisor, you will be required to assist on breakdowns of underground pumping equipment as a part of the infrastructure Maintenance Support crew, while complying with all statutory requirements and Company Safety, Health and Environmental standards and procedures. This position is offered on a 7 day on 7 days off dayshift only roster. You will be required to perform duties as assigned by the employer, which may include, but are not limited to, the tasks outlined below or other responsibilities within your skills and competencies. **Core responsibilities** - Assist in executing preventative & routine maintenance activities. - Assist trades and other personnel as directed. - Report daily the information required by the Underground superintendent. - Communicating, both verbally and in writing, to ensure efficiency and continuation of work activities. - Organising for the supply of materials and equipment required to successfully carry out his/her duties - Assist with the safety, productive effort and the training and development of less senior co-workers as required. - Unsupervised operation of a wide range of equipment including skid steer, excavators, IT, Light trucks, 1300/2900 Boggers and crushing equipment. - Be prepared and willing to undertake duties across the entire mine site, both on surface and underground - Pumping system autonomous maintenance and sump cleaning. - Mud removal using a mud truck - Conveyor system inspections and housekeeping. - Assist with pump installations as required. - Surface infrastructure upkeep and monitoring. - Operation of lifting equipment. **About you** You will be proactive with a strong safety focus and have experience in a similar labour intensive role working within a mining environment.
