**PIMS Mining has been awarded preferred tenderer status by Malabar Resources to provide services at the Maxwell Underground Bord and Pillar Operation located east of Denman and south of Muswellbrook in the Upper Hunter Region, New South Wales.**

**About the Role**

**The minimum skills and expectations for this role are but not limited to**:

- Currently hold a First or Second-Class Certificate of Competency or Mutual Recognition;
- Ability to comply with the Safety Health Management System, Coal Mining Legislation and all relevant statutory requirements;
- Posses a strong work ethic with a great attendance record;
- Comply with site procedures, instructions, and equipment specifications and limitations to ensure effective and safe use of equipment;
- Have the ability to define and communicate performance goals and provide regular and objective feedback on performance;
- Have a strong leadership ability and be able to problem solve complex situations as they arise;
- Demonstrated Underground Coal experience in a similar role.
