Role purpose:
As the NSW Civil Construction Manager, you will be responsible for activities that ensure the successful and profitable delivery of projects in NSW. Each day you will have the opportunity to showcase your skills in forecasting, project management, and stakeholder management to ensure consistent project and technical standards are adopted.

Primary Accountabilities:

- Support project teams with documentation, forecasting, and solving issues
- Prepare monthly project reports with forecasting, program, and key issues
- Oversee commercial process
- Oversee project safety performance, ensuring safety risks are managed and good safety practices are consistently adopted
- Manage stakeholders external stakeholders
- Establish and deploy common project management practices and disciplines
- Set up processes and meetings to review KPI, project, and cost performance
- Lead the operations team, setting priorities, reviewing performance
- Ensure significant project risks including quality, commercial, and safety are identified and proactively mitigated

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Construction or Engineer

Skills & Experience:

- 10 + years of experience managing multiple and complex projects within the construction industry
- Demonstrated experience with site safety management and people management
- Demonstrated record of compliance with quality work standards
- Solid contracts administration background and project coordination skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills,
strong commercial acumen, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
