This privately owned food manufacturer markets and distributes a wonderful range of fresh and ready to eat products under their well loved brand. They sell their products across a wide range of channels including grocery, food service, OOH and export.
They love being the market leaders in the categories in which they compete and have that positioning due to state of the art new product development and manufacturing facilities. These manufacturing facilities are located in regional Victoria providing the local community with sustainable careers and infrastructure

**The role**
Reporting to the National Business Manager-Foodservice this role will predominantly focus on the foodservice channel achieving sales and margin budgets whilst controlling expenditure to maximise profit. This role will work closely with the distributors in NSW as well as the key end user groups and customers.
The role will develop and implement key sales strategies to achieve the challenging sales objectives through profitable and creative promotional activities.Effective trading terms will need to be negotiated and implemented and working closely with clients to explore growth opportunities and new business channels
**What you will need to be successful**:

- Tertiary qualifications in business or a related discipline
- Experience in Account Management in the FMCG channel ideally in a food service role
- Ability to work autonomously and over achieve
- Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills
- Ability to foster excellent commercial relationships with customers and internally
- Strategic thinking and high attention to detail
