**About the Role**

We're seeking reliable and hardworking Kitchen Hands to help our chefs deliver an exceptional dining experience to our residents—one clean plate at a time As Kitchen Hand, you’ll be essential in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and organisation in our state-of-the-art kitchen.

Role Responsibilities
- Cleaning and sanitising all kitchen surfaces, walls, floors, cool rooms, and equipment.
- Dishwashing and care of all crockery, pots, pans, and utensils.
- Polishing silverware and ensuring hygiene standards are consistently met.
- Disposing of kitchen waste and maintaining a tidy work environment.
- Following a detailed cleaning schedule, including regular deep cleaning of kitchen equipment to ensure compliance with food safety standards.
- Supporting chefs with basic food prep—chopping vegetables, defrosting proteins, preparing salads and sauces, and organising fridges and freezers.
- Assisting with stock rotation and maintaining accurate inventory of kitchen consumables.

**Qualifications, Experience and Skills**
- Experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment
- Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and chemical handling (or willingness to learn)
- A proactive and positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and stay cool under pressure
- Food Safety Certificate (highly regarded but not essential)
