**The role**

In this role you will ensure ensures that information relating to sales, production, commercial and emissions is fit-for-purpose. This will include ensuring that the requirements, processes and controls are in place to report correctly and with a full audit trail thus minimising value loss due to incorrect invoices, wrong well intervention decisions, incorrect input in business planning.

- Maintain a high-level focus on safety and the environment.
- Identify, roadmap, sequence and strategically prioritise HCA initiatives
- Liaise with Senior Managers to align on roadmaps, direction, BAU support to progress changes to HCA framework
- Liaise with Obligation Owners to understand upcoming changes to their requirements
- Architect HCA design elements to be built across the Integrated Gas operating model
- Maintain and assure the integrity of information, processes, and allocation models (including access control) within the HCA System.
- Manages the consumer reporting requirements for information that HCA produces - product measurements, product allocation, emissions, and commercial information.
- Understand the HCA system design by ensuring ‘As Built’ artefacts are maintained by working with IT Architects and System Vendor.

Hydrocarbon Accounting. It is then made available to finance, governments, customers, partners and management and to processes such as Assess Reserves, Manage Assets, Production Planning and Development, Production Optimisation etc.

**About you**

To be successful in this role you will possess the ability to** **design processes, policies and procedures, as well as the ability to build complex mathematical models and identifying potential consequences and take proactive action.

- Tertiary level education in an Engineering, Finance or Commercial field
- Ability to prioritize and consistently meet deadlines
- High level of interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with the ability to interface with internal and external parties as required.
- Excellent skills in multi-tasking, prioritisation and time management with the ability to manage numerous tasks at any one time in a demanding environment.
- A preparedness to learn and adopt new work practices, systems and procedures.
- Self-motivated, passionate, highly efficient, proactive and professional with a respect for confidentiality.
