**About the Role**

You will play a vital role in the safety, efficiency, and profitability of our
**Brendale Site**. As a
**Maintenance Fitter,** you will be responsible for mechanical maintenance, involved in hands-on preventative maintenance, repairs & refurbishments, and maintenance planning. Our business is always fast-moving and safety-focused. We have a small and successful Maintenance team at Brendale and your skills, attitude and personality will make a great contribution.

**Preferred Certificates and Licenses**
- Trades and Fitter Certificate
- Forklift Licence
- Working at Heights Certificate
- Competitive Manufacturing Cert IV
- Restricted Electrical license

**Skills and Experience**
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Fitter
- Past knowledge working in a 24/7 operating business
- Competency in the safe use of cranes and slinging
- Full Availability for Night and Day shifts required
- Perform risk assessments on planned & unplanned maintenance tasks.
- Understanding of efficient continuous improvement/repairs
- Ability to minimise factory downtime with safe operating machinery
- Strong focus on workplace safety practices including JSEA’s & Permits to Work
- Have clear communication skills both verbal & written
- Enjoy working as part of the team
- Not afraid to learn new skills
