**About the organisation**:
Our client is an established, privately owned, engineering consultancy providing bespoke specialist solutions for resources, industrial and marine clients across Australia. The projects division prides itself on having extensive design and construction experience within their sectors.

**About the role**:
Working on a remote mine site our client is on the lookout for an experienced Project Lead to drive, coordinate and manage all project based operations for the business partnering with the owner / operator. This position will require an individual with an strong understanding of structural, mechanical and piping projects within an underground mining environment.

This is a FIFO rostered position with flights from all capital cities and potentially regional hubs direct to the location. As a highly remote site the location has all amenities and a thriving community of individuals committed to the safe working operations of the mine.

You should have the following background / attributes:

- Exceptional understanding of structural, mechanical and piping based trades
- Previous hands on experience in a site based trade environment
- A proven background managing resources projects
- Comfortable with remote site based operations
- A knowledge of conveyors and ventilation within underground operations is beneficial
- Confident in client engagement and joint venture working

You should display the following personal attributes:

- Self motivated and driven by project timelines
- Able to relate strongly with site based teams
- Exceptional interpersonal and decision making skills
- Motivational and able to get the best from others

This role will see you interact with a range of professionals on-site so a trades based background (rather than Engineering) will be highly beneficial, providing you with a great understanding of the skills and attributes of others and what’s required to make this project a success.

This role will suit an experienced Project Lead or Manager that is comfortable with the workings of an established mine in a highly remote location. In turn you will be well remunerated for your efforts.
