The Weekly Times is looking for a Digital Producer with strong writing and organisational skills who is passionate about creating engaging stories to reach targeted audiences. The role includes working closely with the digital editorial team to build, optimise and publish daily digital content, including web stories, newsletters, videos and social media content. You will also be able to identify reader trends and behaviour to ensure stories resonate with a national rural audience. You are a people person who enjoys collaborating with a team, and also a self-starter who can take initiative. Experience in rural journalism and a high level of expertise in digital publishing is ideal.

**What’s the role?**
We’re seeking a digital producer with excellent writing, seo and technical skills to join The Weekly Times out of our Southbank office.
- Undertake and complete website build and production tasks across brands under the direction of the Digital Editor
- Assist in troubleshooting subscriber technical issues and communicating in a professional manner
- Editing, preparing, publishing and managing content on The Weekly Times platforms,
- Provide accurate and timely coverage of breaking news, features and digital-first content
- Working collaboratively with editors, reporters and producers
