**Lead Educator (ECT) Position**:
**Part-Time - 65 hours a fortnight**:

Meerilinga has operated since 1911. The children and community centres provide access to free and fee paid children and community programs and activities, facilities use and information. Income generating activities including facility rental and licenced early learning programs operate from the centre.

**About the role**

The position will have a range of responsibilities including:

- Curriculum planning and implementation.
- Mentoring Educators on STEM, Language/Literacy, Fundamental movement skills.
- Reconciliation Action Plan champion
- Leading and mentoring a team of amazing and passionate Educators
- Leading the development of the Quality Improvement Plan

**About you**
- An approved equivalent or Bachelor of Early Childhood Education.
- Must have at least 2 years’ experience leading an early learning program.
- Excellent knowledge of National Quality Framework and are able to implement a curriculum at exceeding level
- Demonstrated experience building partnerships with families
- Demonstrated experience in the education and care of children
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills with both children and adults
- Demonstrated ability to work in a culturally competent manner
- The ability to work cooperatively and flexibly within a team environment
- Knowledge of child protection law and procedures
- Well-developed organisational skills
- Aspire to work in a not-for-profit organisation where you can attach greater meaning to the work you do.
