Commercial Supervisor

The Commercial Supervisor oversees financial and commercial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. This role supports the Commercial Manager by driving process improvements, maintaining robust financial processes, and leading the team to achieve organizational goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead, mentor, and inspire a dynamic team, including administrative assistants, accounts receivable clerks, and a commercial coordinator/junior commercial accountant.
- Take ownership of financial processes, managing general ledger corrections, accruals, financial journals, and audits with precision and efficiency.
- Drive accounts receivable excellence by overseeing credit limit reviews, revenue assurance, and proactive debt recovery strategies.
- Prepare insightful financial reports that empower the Commercial Manager to make informed, strategic decisions.
- Assist the Commercial Manager with budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and adherence to Capex policies.
- Partner closely with the Commercial Manager to tackle operational and financial challenges head-on, contributing to business success.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment with commercial objectives and drive continuous improvement.

**About You**:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business administration or a related field.
- At least 5 years proven experience in a similar supervisory role, preferably within a commercial or financial environment.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with proficiency in P&L analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
- Experience in construction, mining or heavy equipment industry is advantageous
