We are looking for an experienced Rack Installer to join our team in Perth. Predominantly the work would be in the Perth Metro area, although there is potential for some travel and remote work.
As an installer, you will assist in repairs, maintenance and relocations of existing racking. You will also have direct interactions with our clients on site.
We are looking for someone that would be capable of taking up a leading hand role in the short-medium term and have a junior installer working under them.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assemble various shelving systems.
- Bolt aligned -steel members in position for permanent fastening, bolting, or welding into place.
- Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts, following blueprints and instructions from supervisors.
- Drive drift pins through rivet holes in order to align rivet holes in structural-steel members with corresponding holes in previously placed members.
- Erect metal and precast components for shelving such as warehouse racking systems, retail storage systems, drive-in, cantilever and tear drop pallet racking.
- Hoist and position steel members into final positions, using hands, lift trucks, and hand tools.
- Pull, push, or pry structural-steel members into approximate positions for bolting into place.

**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**:

- Working at heights / EWP ticket
- Forklift ticket
- Driver’s license (manual C class at a minimum, LR or MR would be very valuable as we have a small LR truck commonly used for transporting gear and tools to site)
- Good English
- Familiar with use of hand and power tools
- Some form of construction experience
- Good presentation and work ethic
- Physically fit and capable
- Willing to learn and increase value
