We have a full time permanent opportunity to work for a family owned Australian business located in Bayswater

Join our dynamic team as a permanent Full-Time Order Picker/Driver. We are seeking a motivated individual to contribute to our fast-paced and growing seafood distribution company. This permanent position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with optional Saturday work, providing a great work-life balance.

**Responsibilities**:
As a Order Picker/Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless operation of our distribution process. Your responsibilities will include:

- Picking, packing, and accurately assembling customer orders with attention to detail and efficiency.
- Loading and unloading pallets in our factory to maintain a well-organized and safe warehouse environment.
- Safely loading and unloading vans and trucks, ensuring the proper handling of delicate seafood products.
- Organizing freezers and cool rooms to ensure optimal storage conditions for our products.
- Following the FIFO (First In, First Out) principle to maintain product freshness and quality.
- Performing general warehouse duties, including maintaining cleanliness and orderliness.
- Assisting with administrative tasks related to order processing and inventory management.
- Utilizing our company van to deliver fresh and frozen seafood products to customers throughout Melbourne using the most efficient and cost-effective routes.
- Providing exceptional customer service during deliveries, building positive relationships with customers.
- Ensuring that the delivery van is always clean, organized, and presentable.

**Qualifications**:
To succeed in this role, you will need:

- Prior experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in a picking and packing role.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A strong commitment to punctuality and reliability, with the ability to start work at 4:00 AM.
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with customers.
- Physical capability to lift and move heavy objects and perform tasks in a physically demanding environment.
- A customer-focused mindset with a dedication to providing outstanding service.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for administrative tasks.
