**What You Will Be Doing**

MePACS is a Personal Alarm Call Service operated by Peninsula Health providing call services to approx. 40,000 elderly, disabled or vulnerable members of the community to support their independence and safety in the home. The MePACS Emergency Response Service is the first point of contact for clients who are experiencing a medical emergency.

The MePACS Team Leader in Emergency Response Operator is a critical role in the MEPACS service delivery structure, responsible for supporting the delivery of effective supervision of Emergency Response Operators to deliver a consistently high level of service to clients. This role is a roataional four on four off Roster.

Day Shifts 6.30am to 4.30pm

Afternoon Shifts 12pm to 10pm

Backfill of Night Shifts as required - 10.00pm to 8.00am

Essential to this position is a proactive and supporting approach to ongoing development, performing the role of Team Leader, including managing employees and the ability to manage and control extreme situations with calmness and leadership.

**What You Need**

We anticipate you will have:

- The role of Team Leader is to Supervise Emergency Response Operators on each shift, allocating break times and managing workflow by monitoring Q Master and allocating calls so that all KPI’s are met for each shift
- Flexibility to work across all shifts as required.
- Train, coach and develop staff members in MEPACS policies and procedures
- Manage the behaviour and productivity of the Emergency Response Operators on each shift, by modelling appropriate behaviour.
- Maintain staffing levels for each shift, answer calls from Emergency Response Operators who are unable to attend a rostered shift,, fill vacant shifts on Roster On by notifying staff members of available shifts by SMS
- Manage & produce standard reports for MePACS Management
