**COACHING OPPORTUNITY**

An opportunity has opened for an experienced and enthusiastic combat sports coach to join our team at Melbourne Martial Arts Academy. We are predominantly looking for coaches in Boxing and/or Muay Thai, but may consider coaches of other Combat Sports. Coaches who have the capacity to teach in multiple styles of Combat Sports will be highly regarded.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES-** Delivering high-quality classes in Boxing and/or Muay Thai to our members across all age groups and skill levels. Delivering high quality 1-on-1 and small group sessions to personal training clients. Actively pursuing new clients and working towards building a regular PT client base. Encouraging students to participate in competitions, and assisting in their preparation. Actively assisting in the day-to-day running of the centre, and in all centre events and promotions.

**KEY REQUIREMENTS-** Qualification and experience in Coaching for Boxing and/or Muay Thai. - Qualification and experience in personal training. - Experience in preparing fighters for competition, including cutting weight and cornering fighters for their bouts. - Must be from Melbourne or at least willing to relocate. - Australian Working Rights.

**NOT ESSENTIAL BUT HIGHLY DESIRABLE -** Certificate III & IV in Fitness or equivalent - Registration with Fitness Australia and/or Physical Activity Australia. - First Aid and CPR certification. - Working with Children Check. - Competitive experience in Boxing and/or Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, preferably at professional level. - The ability to coach multiple combat sports will be highly regarded.
