2ic - Service

You will be supporting the Service Workshop Manager on a day-to-day basis. The role is a mix of working autonomously as well as closely with all other team members. Being part of a small growing business, you will be encouraged to suggest improvements and implement changes. We value input from all team members and enjoy working together to achieve our goals.

The main purpose of this role is to assist with a mix of workshop and customer service-related activities and help grow and develop our procedures, specifically tied in with our company goal of implementing lean principles throughout the factory and office environment.

**Core Responsibilities**
- Ensure WH&S protocols are maintained.
- Hands on role including installing new products, diagnosing problems, and coming up with solutions to repair the issue.
- Escalate any quality issues to the Service Workshop Manager and make suggestions for improvements.
- Assist the Service Workshop Manager with the order of relevant parts required for service jobs.
- Complete a detailed report of any service work performed, including warranty and insurance repair jobs.
- Involvement in daily team meetings, as well as other meetings as required.
- Assisting the Service Workshop Manager with customer greetings and handovers, when required.

- Organised with high attention to detail.
- Ability to create new initiatives and implement strategies to improve operations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have good communication skills.
- A consistently solid work ethic.
- Abilities to prioritise and multitask on a daily basis.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience working in the recreational vehicle, automotive or marine industries.
- Quick learner and open to further training and career development.
