**Responsibilities**:

- Railway Station emphasis is on crowd control and anti-social behavior
- Maintenance Centre and Stabling Yard emphasis is on asset protection and safety in the rail corridor
- Constant verifiable patrolling and electronic reporting of log entries, incident and hazard reports
- Use of PPE and security equipment
- Provide other stakeholders with a visible security Presence
- Comply with all requirements of SOPs and Safe Work Method Statements
- Cooperate with safety engagements and periodic memo requirements communicated either online or by the Regional Supervisors
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to absorb continuous training thru online learning modules, memos and Safety Engagements
- Electronic reporting of shift logs and rostering access
- Ability to fluently communicate both orally and in electronic reporting to other stakeholders
- Ability to work a 24/7 rotating roster

**About you**
- 1 Years’ experience in the Security Industry
- Previous experience as a Security Officer - Mobile Patrol (Highly Regarded)
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Current NSW Security Licence (1AC)
- Current NSW Class C - Drivers Licence
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Already hold or willing to obtain Rail Industry Worker card
- Intermediate to Advanced Computer Skills
- literacy in all MS Office products
- Highly Customer service orientated
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills
