- **About the Role**
**IRT Woodlands** is looking for **experienced Care Manager** to lead the aged care leadership team pursuing excellence in leadership.
**Your work includes**:
- Accountability for the day to day operations of IRT Woodlands, ensuring the management and delivery of resident relations is satisfactory to IRT policies and procedures
- Delivering exceptional operational performance in line with the Aged Care industry Standards, relevant laws & regulations and IRT annual objectives
- Ensuring all administrative requirements including care plans and other programs are documented in a complete and timely manner
- Identifying workforce requirements including recruiting, monitoring and developing through performance reviews to ensure a competent and well-functioning team.
- Empowering employee, supporting and mentoring a team of employees and volunteers to continue to deliver and improve upon a high quality of care to residents that meets their physical, emotional, and social needs
- Developing and managing budgets for the Residence, allocating resources effectively to support the needs of residents and staff while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Maintaining effective communication with residents, their families, staff, and external stakeholders to address concerns, provide updates, and foster a positive and transparent environment

- Demonstrated minimum **4-5 years of experience in a similar leadership role** for Aged Care
- Current **Australian Nursing Registration (APHRA)**:
- Commercial acumen including working with operational budgets and financial management
- Proven leadership skills with developing individuals and teams to achieve strategic outcomes
- Sound knowledge of **AN-ACC, Aged Care Legislation and Accreditation**:
- Competency in using technology including clinical management systems
- The ability to role model continuous improvement and facilitate change through others
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate empathetically to people from diverse backgrounds, values and cultures
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Post graduate qualifications would be highly regarded.
