**After Hours Coordinator**

Warringal Private Hospital is seeking an After-Hours Coordinator to join their team in this Permanent Full Time or Part Time opportunity.

**About the Role**

This is a key leadership position that is accountable for efficient and effective operational management of the team after-hours. The role supports and encompasses clinical governance, staff management, bed access and patient flow, and emergency response management out of business hours.

This role reports directly to the Director Clinical Services and Site Operations Manager.

**About You**

To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective leader who with the ability to motivate others. You will bring extensive clinical skills and experience along with exceptional interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage your time effectively complete allocated tasks.

This role will suit both an experience nurse stepping up into leadership or a more experienced clinical manager.

You will also bring;
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years postgraduate experience within Acute Care.
- CCU/HDU experience is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to be an effective role model in the area of clinical practice
- Sound Computer skills in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- post grad studies are not necessary but highly regarded

To be successful you will need to be available during to work a 7-day rotating roster across primarily evenings/nights, and weekends.

**The Hospital**

Owned and operated by Ramsay Health Care, Warringal is proud to offer its staff and patients world class care in a contemporary environment which currently provides 215 beds, 11 state of the art operating theatres, an Intensive Care Unit and a host of other state-of-the-art facilities. We have now commenced a $180m major development which will see the hospital almost double in size, including additional beds, operating theatres, a new expanded ICU and an Emergency Department in addition to new Support Services.

**Requirements**:
Everyone who joins Ramsay:

- Must be **vaccinated against Covid-19** a vaccine approved by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation
- Must provide a **National Police** check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, Ramsay may require a **Working-With-Children** check and **proof of immunisation** against infectious diseases
