Keeping our hotel running smoothly is vital to our guest's experience - as the Handy Person you’ll keep everything looking sharp and running like clockwork. From simple repairs to forward-thinking for the next day. With naturally high standards to support our own, you’ll approach every task with dedication and pride.

You will conduct general maintenance for the hotel in accordance with company standards and be able to demonstrate awareness and understanding of Workplace Health and Safety policies and procedures. You will assist with hotels preventative maintenance programs to ensure the hotels equipment and facilities operate efficiently and our hotel is looking fantastic for our guests to enjoy.

We're looking for an energetic individual with great communication skills who works well within a team. You'll be an efficient self-starter and be able to work with limited supervision, as well as being able to consider others when conducting your work. You'll have a real passion for delivering high quality work and possess the ability to interact well with guests, colleagues and contractors. You will need to have a keen eye for detail and a can-do attitude.
- Experience in general maintenance and/or repairs with a good all-round knowledge of maintenance procedures, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Experience in all or some of the following: air conditioning, door lock systems, painting, tiling, plumbing, general furniture repairs.
- Ability to start work early, around 7am.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
