SOCIAL MEDIA LEAD

Bega Group, home to Vegemite, Dare Iced Coffee, Dairy Farmers, and more, is searching for a passionate Social Media Lead to take the reins of our social media strategy.

In this dynamic role, you'll be the mastermind, leading the social media team to create engaging content and thriving communities across all our social channels. You'll lead the charge in crafting data-driven strategies and executing innovative campaigns that amplify our much-loved brands

Your experience- Experience in similar social media and digital roles in fast paced environments, managing diverse stakeholder expectations.- Proven experience in setting social and content strategies and understand the role that this plays within the wider business plans.- Demonstrated expertise in creating and delivering social media campaigns and connected digital activity.- Experience leading social teams that create value and entertaining content that is fit for channel.- Understanding of which type of content resonates best for target market and channel.- Expertise in social media tools (e.g. Meltwater, Sprinklr, Trello), EDM software (Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor), analytics and reporting software (Google Analytics, Metorik, Dashthis, Meltwater) and ad management platforms (Meta and TikTok Ad Managers). Started to use and test AI tools to improve performance, UX experience and output.

Your SUPERPOWERS- Digital expert who is a confident user of all leading social platforms and digital tools.- Possesses strong working experience with the customer journey and how social and digital plays its role in supporting the connected commerce approach.- Understands which content resonates best for target markets and channels.- Confident in using storytelling to deliver brand values and purpose.- Passionate about the customer and creating vibrant social media communities. Values two-way interactions between customers and brands and looks for ways to foster user generated engagement (UGC) on owned and earned channels.- Early adopter, exploring and testing AI tools to improve performance, user experience, and output- Leadership that motivates and inspires high performing teams
