We are seeking an enthusiastic Engagement Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to engage with our stakeholders and community partners.

You will have the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse range of individuals and organisations to drive meaningful change and create lasting relationships

**Your Impact**:
As an Engagement Officer, you will play a crucial role in our Communication, Engagement and Customer Team, working towards our goal of an informed and engaged community shaping its future. You will collaborate with the team to facilitate meaningful community engagement opportunities, ensuring that Council decisions reflect the voices of our community.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Plan and execute effective community engagement campaigns across various channels
- Provide advice and support on community engagement to all staff
- Contribute to the development of best practises for engagement delivery
- Support the management of risks associated with engagement activities

**Your Profile**:
If you have a passion for community engagement, a collaborative spirit, and a drive for positive outcomes, we want to hear from you. We are looking for someone with:

- Demonstrated experience in developing successful engagement campaigns
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Experience working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders

Experience in the government sector and knowledge of IAP2 principles will be highly regarded.

***Join our Team and Grow with Us**:

- **Package**:$73,500 - $78,000 gross p.a. plus 11% superannuation.
- **Hours of work**:Temporary Full Time 35 hours per week with option of 19 day month flex time arrangement. Opportunity expected to be available for up to 10 months.
