**About this role**:
As we deliver the new myki system to Victoria, we want to create substantial social value with the use of our buying power beyond the value of the goods, services being procured. Your day-to-day actions can impact the lives of millions of Victorians, this role has real outcomes. Supported by the Procurement Director you will be enabled to make and drive change across the organisation and our supplier eco-system.
- Drive change within the organisation and our supply chain to support our Social Procurement objectives.
- Partner with our supply chain to identify social procurement opportunities.
- Assist in the execution of our multiyear Social Procurement Strategy.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on performance metrics and recommend actions to consolidate spend to social enterprises.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, OH&S and Modern-Day Slavery laws and standards.
- Stay informed about emerging sustainability and social procurement trends and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to promote social procurement practices.

**About you**:

- Relevant working experience in strategic procurement and/or category management
- Excellent presentation and influencing skills, this role will involve significant change management.
- Ability to work both in teams both locally and internationally and on an autonomous basis.
- Knowledge of social enterprises, and the social procurement framework is high beneficial but not a requirement.
