**THE OPPORTUNITY**

We are seeking a talented and experienced Software Development Manager to lead our development team and drive the successful delivery of software projects. If you are passionate about technology, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record in both hands-on development and team management, we want to hear from you

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Lead and inspire a small team of software developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
- Oversee the full software development life cycle, from planning and design to implementation and maintenance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, other technology teams, and the project management office to ensure successful project delivery.
- Balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on software development and quality assurance oversight.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements, and guide the team in adopting best practices and emerging technologies.
- Action and deliver Level 2 and Level 3 support and service requests in accordance with Service Level Agreements.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Foster a collaborative and innovative environment that encourages open communication and idea-sharing.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Bachelor Degree in IT or relevant experience.
- Strong intellectual capacity, communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
- 2+ years experience in people leadership and management.
- High attention to detail.
- Ability to work with multiple technology stacks.
- Ability to coach and train others.
- Strong Java experience, preferably with an understanding of portlets and JSP.
- Strong SQL experience and understanding, including T-SQL and ODBC.
- .NET Framework and VB.NET experience preferred.
