**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking an experienced **Heavy Diesel Mechanic** to join our Service team as a **Field Service Fitter** based out of our Cavan branch. Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing diagnostics, repair and maintenance services to our customer’s equipment in the field.

**Key responsibilities include**:

- Providing onsite technical support on Hitachi equipment including diagnostics, repair and maintenance
- Building and maintaining excellent rapport with our customer base
- Completion and submission of all relevant paperwork
- Conducting your work in compliance with all quality and safety standards and procedures

**To be successful in the role, you will have**:

- Minimum Certificate III in a Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent discipline (Diesel Mechanic).
- Current driver’s license
- Ability to work autonomously and proactively solve technical issues
- OEM or earthmoving equipment experience is highly regarded
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills and customer service etiquette
- An uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies and procedures
