**Your Opportunity**

The Early Intervention Group Lead will work in a multidisciplinary team of professionals, committed to family centred practice. The role is a clinical position.

The Early Intervention Group Lead will oversee the clinical activities in their corresponding groups, and will ensure positive and professional relationships with individuals and their families are maintained and desired outcomes in line with business standards and best practice.

**A day in the life of an Early Intervention Group Leader**
- Develop high-quality early intervention programs for 2 to 5-year-olds in consultation with children, families and allied health practitioners to achieve agreed outcomes
- Work closely with the therapy team to lead the implementation group-based activities aimed to support early intervention programs.
- Oversee the daily operations of your early intervention groups ensuring consistency in the delivery of programs and activities
- Assist in conducting assessments to identify developmental goals and ascertain progress
- Document program progress, maintain clinical records and manage the administration for your early intervention groups
- Contribute to a child safe environment ensuring standards are met on a daily basis
- Provide support to the manager in strategic planning, development and maintenance of a high standard of professional services within clinical services at Aruma Autism Services.
- Ensure that all services to clients are in line with Aruma values and best practice
- Manage a clinical caseload as required by the business

**About you**
- Commitment to Aruma’s Strategic Intent, Purpose, Values and Code of Conduct;
- Relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelors or higher) in allied health, social work and early childhood teaching, industry experience
- Registration with AHPRA, SPA, ASSW, VIT or other relevant body
- Experience in service provision in small groups in a kinder or therapeutic setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- An understanding of typical and neurodivergent child development the developmental needs of children
- Implementation of principles of evidence-based and family-centred practice
- Experience in report writing and providing feedback to families
- Able to provide evidence of strong leadership skills
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Proficient using Microsoft Office package and online databases.
