**About the Role**

As a fitter (general), your primary responsibility will be;
Positioning, fitting, and securing metal parts and sub assemblies in equipment and products (Specifically custom vehicles).

1. Fabricate and fit fabricated metal parts into vehicles.

2. Assemble metal items and products ready for installation into vehicles.

3. Ensuring fabricated and assembled metal parts are precise and fitted using required instruments.

4. Diagnose errors and faults and perform maintenance on equipment.

5. Overhaul and repair mechanical parts and fluid power equipment such as hydraulics.

6. Install hydraulic pipes and lines into custom vehicles

**About you**

1. Certificate IV in the relevant field is required.

2. Higher level or further qualifications are highly desirable.

3. 1 year minimum work experience in the related field is required.

4. Full time working rights in Australia is required.

5. Strong communicator and able to work in a team environment.

6. Multi lingual is desired, able to communicate with Asia suppliers.

7. Strong problem solving skills is required.

8. Able to prioritize tasks, strong organisational skills is mandatory.

Pay: $36.00 - $42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
