**As a Designer at We Are Social, Sydney, you’ll be responsible for the visualisation of creative concepts across a wide variety of campaigns and clients. You’ll work closely with our small, close-knit Design team as well as with Creatives, Editorial Staff and Account Management to bring ideas to life.
You’re across type, motion, animation, and maybe even handy at illustration. You’re a power user of all apps across Adobe CS and are always trying new tools like AI and other cutting-edge apps. You soak up design inspiration like a sponge and are keen to push visuals in new directions and be proactive and flexible in your work approach. You’re ready to do some of the best work of your career, work at the speed of social, and maybe win some awards.

**Responsibilities**

As Designer you’ll be expected to:

- Conceptualise and visualize content for social media and other campaigns
- Have an excellent knowledge of industry trends, campaigns and platforms
- Challenge yourself and others to consistently improve
- Ensure the level of design that comes out of the agency is of a high visual standard
- Have a keen eye for detail and be able to maintain quality control of own work
- Work efficiently on a number of different clients within the working day, meeting deadlines and making sure projects are completed both on time and on budget.
- Self initiate ideas and proactively contribute to briefs
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues at all levels

**You’ll have**:

- At least 3 years experience in a digital, creative or social agency.
- Proficiency in design for digital and, in particular, social media platforms.
- A degree level education in graphic, digital or interactive design,
fine arts, illustration and/or other related design discipline.
- Excellent knowledge of industry standard software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to take direction and execute/create to a high standard under pressure.
- The nature of We Are Social’s business requires a high level of flexibility, common sense and versatility. While the specific content of your role is clearly defined, the nature of the demands placed on us by our clients mean that this role will evolve over time and needs a ‘can do’ approach to picking projects up and making them happen._
