Head of Project Delivery

Your Role

The Head of Project Delivery has responsibility for embedding and overseeing the local project governance framework across the A&NZ business; works with key stakeholders in the context of the strategic business plan to categorise, prioritise, resource and effectively report on progress of key projects; deliver on benefit realisation targets; work closely with local senior management to support projects being completed on time and within budget; and works closely with Chubb Operations and IT in the identification, analysis and implementation of solutions to enhance customer and staff experience.

This is an execution focused role, and the incumbent should bring a solution focused and collaborative work style with the ability to work across a wide range of stakeholders to effectively progress projects and opportunities that assist in meeting the strategic business plan and underpinning excellent customer service.

This is a temporary role whilst the current incumbent has been asked to take on broader roles.

**Your Responsibilities**:
Manage and report on the local A&NZ project management framework including prioritisation and categorisation of key projects across the business whether locally, regionally or globally initiated.

Facilitate the prioritisation and scheduling of the A&NZ business initiatives to ensure alignment with business objectives and 5-year business plans.

Develop and implement appropriate and consistent program & project governance structures including effective risk management practices to enable effective decision making and monitoring and review and update any existing applicable processes.

Optimise deployment of project and change management resources in support of initiatives and business objectives and in conjunction with business project owners, oversight and lead the project management resources in the team.

Work with the sponsors and business owners to ensure appropriate governance and reporting is in place for all programs at the A&NZ level including adequate resourcing and project management.

Build and maintain strong and effective relationships across all A&NZ teams, and relevant regional and global business units, to ensure the successful delivery of and benefit realisation of all ongoing initiatives.

**Qualifications**:
Your Skills & Experience

Formal qualifications and/or training in project management and business optimisation will be well regarded

Degree qualified in business management or a related discipline and qualification in technology

Change management qualifications or certifications (e.g. PROSCI, ACM)

8+ years’ work experience in leading large and complex projects and transformation with evidence of change management experience in either a project or operations environment

Experience in managing Waterfall and Agile (or combined) projects

Experience working with teams across multiple countries

Experience with a variety of project management tools e.g. MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, SharePoint, Clarity

Insurance project experience and knowledge of the general insurance business model, broker platforms and underwriting/claims operations
