Busy medical practice in Kellyville area is looking for a Medical Receptionist who has experience of work in GP clinic and can confidentially help run the clinic under the Practice Manager.

**The Practice**:
Kellyville Village Medical Centre is a GP owned medical practice founded in 2015. Our modern and busy Medical & Allied Health Practice is located conveniently in Kellyville Village Shopping Centre, Kellyville, NSW and we passionately serve the needs of the surrounding communities. We are an Accredited (AGPAL) multidisciplinary practice who plays a role in GP training in association with RACGP.

**The team**:
You would become part of a team of GPs, 1 Pediatrician, 1 Cardiologist,1 Psychologist, 1 Dietician, 1 Podiatrist, 1 Audiologist, 5 receptionists, 2 Nurses and onsite Douglass Hanly Moir Pathology.

**The role**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring the clinic is running smoothly day-to-day
- Patient communication and support in clinic and over the phone
- Maintaining correct and up-to-date patient database
- Process patient billing and receipting including Medicare, DVA, workers compensation billings, private billings, HPOS, batching, reprocessing and reconciling batches.
- Liaising with third party companies to chase up payments for workcover and CTP claims
- Assist nurses with recalls
- Troubleshooting computer issues with the help of IT department
- Helping Practice Manager in managing and supporting staff; training, reviewing, rostering, conflict resolution for reception, doctors and nurses
- Working on PIP Quality Improvement
- Assisting Practice Manager with other tasks as required

**Requirements**:

- Proven ability as a team player and to work independently
- Proficient computer skills
- Experience with Best Practice software
- At least 1 years experience as medical receptionist
- CPR Trained or willing to get the training soon and provide the certificate

Shifts:

- Morning
- Evening
- Weekends
