We are currently seeking **2 x experienced Laundry Workers** to join the team **providing support services at Bethanie Como Aged Care Home**. Bethanie Como is a 99-bed luxury facility that provides a full range of aged care services with a focus on allied health support and personalised care.

These roles will be offered on a **permanent part-time basis** working across AM shifts.

To be successful in this role, you will have experience in laundering practices ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment, and be of a friendly nature, as interaction with our residents is core to our culture.

**About You**

- Previous experience working as a Laundry Assistant, ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment
- Have a ‘can do’ attitude and a genuine compassion for our residents
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group
- Willingness to obtain relevant vaccinations

**The Role**

- Ensuring all laundry and linen is laundered correctly and infection control practices are adhered to
- Sorting and washing linen by wash temperature, colour, degree of soiling, infectious nature, fabric and fibre
- Loading and unloading washing machines and tumble dryers
- Sorting and folding clean and dry linen
- Reporting damage or wear and recommending repairs or replacement
