We currently have opportunities available for Domestic Assistants to join Seabeach Gardens in Mona Vale on a part time or casual basis.

**About the role**

Seabeach Gardens is staffed and provides support to our residents from 7am to 8:30pm, 7 days a week. The role of Domestic Assistant includes undertaking supporting our residents independence and improving their quality of life by providing cleaning support in our residents units. We currently have shifts available for 16 hours per week Wednesday to Friday.

Activities will include but are not limited to:

- Clean common areas, resident units and external clients’ residences as directed
- Sweep, or mop laminate, tiled and concrete floors
- Vacuum all carpet areas
- Dust, polish and clean: furniture, ceiling vents, light fittings, surface areas, and counter tops
- Clean bathrooms and toilet areas
- Keep external areas clean, tidy and debris free, including bin rooms/areas
- Work cooperatively with residents, village management and team members

**About you**:

- Previous commercial and domestic cleaning experience
- Experience working within an aged care environment desirable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail
- Good command of English language and ability to communicate with coworkers and residents
- Physical fitness to undertake the duties of the role
- Flexible and positive attitude to working within a dynamic and constantly evolving work environment
- Ability to attend shifts in Mona Vale

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $29.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 per week
