Manager, Delivery Support

**The role**:
This role is required to oversee and manage delivery of large scale, complex IM/ICT projects within the Digital Enablement team, ensuring successful completion within agreed performance criteria which will enable enhanced health service delivery.

You will promote and ensure that appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools as well as benefits realisation and risk issue management are used to ensure the quality outcomes for projects are delivered.

The Digital Enablement team will establish a new service, focusing on low/no-code solutions to support the organisation's digital health journey, whilst maintaining and servicing an existing and exciting pipeline of work.

The Delivery Office Manager will lead a team of project support resources to support the program of work, ensuring compliance with Project Management methodologies, governance, procurement, financial management policies, practices and the like.

**Responsibilities of the Delivery Office Manager include**:

- Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe services and workplaces.
- Manage the definition, documentation and successful completion of a medium scale project in line with Queensland Health project management methodologies.
- Promote and ensure use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure quality project outcomes are delivered.
- Manage, monitor and report on project related trends and performance against project plans and schedules.
- Manage and monitor resources, expenses and capital costs against the project forecasts.
- Initiate, influence and maintain relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business, and foster relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations.
- Manage resources by leading a multi-disciplinary project support team.
- Follow defined service quality standards, occupational health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken in order to ensure high quality, safe, services and workplaces
