To Manage a portfolio of Settlements files within Recovery & Settlements Department, whilst achieving cost effective and quality claims handling through robust relationships with internal and external service providers._

(Insurance) Providing delivery of superior claims service, determining proper policy coverage to conclude, investigate, evaluate and negotiate assigned cases
- _Sound knowledge of the claims process _
- _Sharp eye for detail _
- _Well grounded negotiation and communication skills _
- _Able to deal effectively and confidently with conflict _
- _Effective time management capabilities _
- _Confidence in decision making _
- _Self motivated and able to work unsupervised _
- _Previous debt collection, paralegal or insurance claims experience will be highly regarded_
- _Manage a portfolio of liability files _
- _Assess liability and recovery potential _
- _Negotiate with third parties and insurers. _
- _Careful preparation, attention to detail and sound judgement to assess liability _
- _Obtain a suitable and quick outcome through effective negotiation _
- _Application of Insurance Contracts Act, Code of Practice and other regulatory authorities_
