Our client is a community-based not-for-profit organisation. They aim to prevent youth homelessness and family breakdown by providing a range of innovative accommodation, care and support services to young people aged between 9 and 25. The company is an organization with strong ties to its community, making use of local knowledge and expertise to deliver trauma-informed and person-centred services.

We are looking for to hire experience social worker for a Regional Manager position in Sydney who shares our values, provides an excellent customer experience, and have a genuine passion for the youth support sector. This is a full-time position with annual remuneration package of between $95,000- $130,000 per year depending on individual skills and experience.

This role is responsible for the overall leadership of all OOHC programs and teams across the assigned region of responsibility. It will focus on ensuring the programs meet expected standards ensuring critical incidents are managed in line with relevant guidelines. The role will be responsible for ensuring employee engagement is at the highest level to support a highly engaged and productive workforce.

Duties include but not limited to:

- Oversee all aspects of serviced programs in region.
- Ensure all funding and accreditation requirements for the programs are achieved
- Oversee client referrals, assessment, intake and allocation within the OOHC Program.
- Ensure Program goals and implementation are aligned with Strategic Plan.
- Ensure critical incidents are managed effectively.
- Assist to manage and resolve escalated complex case matters.
- Lead team to support an environment where clients are exercising maximum consultation and participation appropriate to the need and service area.
- Uphold values of stability, safety and wellbeing in all placements.
- Demonstrate a positive, solution-focused, trauma-informed and innovative approach to service delivery
- Undertake critical measurement of outcomes to support continuous improvement, reporting and alignment to goals.
- Manage and mitigate any risks arising for young people and employees.
- Ensure appropriate records for each client are maintained in adherence to compliance standards.
- Participate in internal and external key working parties that relate to service delivery and development.
- Develop and maintain a positive and collaborative team environment and culture. This includes positive role modelling to staff.
- Enhance and build capacity for collaborative practice.
- Lead practice through working groups, training, and supervision.

Skills/Experience
- Degree in Social Work or equivalent relevant tertiary qualification.
- At least 2 years of demonstrated senior management experience of providing social work services to clients including complex cases.
- Understanding and experience working with young people in the Specialist Homelessness Service System and/or Out of Home Care.
- Knowledge of the consequences of trauma in young people.
- Experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams including effectively motivating, developing and managing performance of team.
- Demonstrated experience in effectively managing conflicting priorities.
- Ability to deliver outcomes in tight frames.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders internally and externally.
- High level interpersonal, conflict resolution, assessment and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated capacity to deal with complexity in an organization.
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage own workload to meet timeframes and job-related expectations.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
